Deposits & Payments

  • A 20% deposit is required upon booking.
  • Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE.
  • Pricing is not one-size-fits-all – it varies based on style, length, size, type of hair, and fullness.

Pricing Details

  • Length & Size: Longer or smaller braids cost more.
  • Hair Type:
    • Human hair is more expensive than synthetic or kanekalon braiding hair.
    • A full human hair style costs more than a mixed style (human curls with kanekalon braiding hair).
    • Styles with synthetic curls + kanekalon are cheaper than styles with human hair curls.
    • Braiding with human hair curls takes longer and is therefore more expensive, whether the hair is provided by the client or Bow Salon.
  • Fullness:
    • Light fullness means fewer curls are added but requires more human hair and takes significantly longersince braiders must constantly add curls.
  • To avoid confusion, you must text a picture of the style, size, and length you want for pricing before booking.

Hair Preparation

  • Hair must be washed and blow-dried before your appointment.
  • If not, Bow Salon can provide this service:
    • Wash & blow-dry: $45
    • Wet & blow-dry only: $30
  • Important: Hair that is tangled or has oils/grease will not be considered washed and blow-dried. Hair should be smooth and easy to brush through.

Additional Services

  • Takedown services are available for an additional cost.
  • Hair extensions are an additional cost – please text for details.

Refunds & Behavior

  • We DO NOT offer refunds, even if someone fails to read this policy.
  • We love and appreciate our customers, but we do not tolerate rude behavior, disrespect, or threats. Such actions will result in being reported to the police.

Safety & Surveillance

  • The salon is under 24/7 video surveillance.
  • By entering, you give implied consent to being recorded for the safety of our clients and staff.
